Mezcal Reina Gift Card

1. About these terms

1.1 These terms apply to Mezcal Reina gift cards ("Gift Cards") sold through www.mezcalreina.com. Gift Cards are issued by Mezcal Reina Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 10466073, with its registered office at 3rd Floor The Coade, 98 Vauxhall Walk, London SE11 5EL ("we", "us", "our").

1.2 By buying or using a Gift Card, you agree to these terms. Our [Privacy Policy] explains how we handle personal data.

1.3 Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Buying a Gift Card

2.1 Gift Cards are available in the values shown on our website at the time of purchase, in pounds sterling.

2.2 You must be 18 or over to buy a Gift Card. Our products contain alcohol, so Gift Cards must not be bought for, or given to, anyone under 18.

2.3 Gift Cards are delivered by email to the address you provide at checkout, or as a printable voucher. Please check the email address carefully. We are not responsible for a Gift Card sent to an incorrect address you supplied.

2.4 Gift Cards cannot be bought using another Gift Card.

3. Validity and expiry

3.1 Each Gift Card is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. The expiry date is shown on the Gift Card and in the email confirming your purchase.

3.2 Any balance not used by the expiry date will be cancelled and cannot be refunded, reinstated or exchanged for cash.

3.3 Expiry dates are not normally extended. We may choose to extend one in exceptional circumstances, at our discretion.

4. Using a Gift Card

4.1 Gift Cards can be redeemed online at www.mezcalreina.com by entering the code at checkout. They cannot currently be used [at events, in venues or with our retail and wholesale partners].

4.2 Only the person redeeming a Gift Card needs to be 18 or over. We, or our delivery partner, may ask for proof of age on delivery and will not hand over alcohol to anyone under 18 or who appears intoxicated.

4.3 The value of your order, including delivery charges, is deducted from the Gift Card balance. Any remaining balance stays on the Gift Card until it is used or expires. If your order costs more than the balance, you can pay the difference by another accepted payment method.

4.4 Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash, credited to a bank account, reloaded or resold, except where required by law.

4.5 You can check your balance by contacting us at contactus@mezcalreina.com with your Gift Card code.

5. Cancellations and refunds

5.1 If you bought a Gift Card online, you may cancel it within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided no part of it has been redeemed. To cancel, email contactus@mezcalreina.com with your order number. Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of your request.

5.2 After 14 days, or once any part of a Gift Card has been used, it cannot be refunded.

5.3 If you return products bought with a Gift Card, the refund will be credited back to the Gift Card where possible. If the Gift Card has expired, we will issue the refund in a way that complies with your statutory rights.

6. Lost, stolen or misused Gift Cards

6.1 Please treat your Gift Card like cash. We cannot replace a lost or stolen Gift Card, or one used without your permission, unless you can provide proof of purchase and the balance has not yet been spent.

6.2 We may cancel or refuse to honour any Gift Card we reasonably believe has been obtained fraudulently, used fraudulently, or sold or offered for sale by an unauthorised third party.

7. Our liability

7.1 Our liability for any Gift Card is limited to its unused balance, except where the law does not allow us to limit it.

7.2 Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited under English law.

8. Your personal data

8.1 We use the details you give us, and the recipient's details, only to process, deliver and administer the Gift Card, in line with our [Privacy Policy] and UK data protection law.

9. Changes to these terms

9.1 We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will not reduce the value or shorten the expiry of a Gift Card already purchased.

10. Governing law

10.1 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
